Marsha Prospere, PCC, CMC, is co-founder of Root Astro and the founder of Adept Flow, a coaching and advisory practice for senior leaders navigating role redesign and sustainable performance. A trauma-informed executive coach and Certified Mentor Coach, she has spent more than fifteen years working in the room with executives, founders, and leadership teams on the inner work that makes outer work sustainable.
Marsha's coaching approach pairs the precision of structured method with the patience of someone who has watched what unsustainable leadership actually costs. She holds a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coaching Federation and has trained at the highest tiers of mentor coaching certification. She facilitates and instructs at Rutgers University and within the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, where she works with the leaders of high-growth small companies.
She speaks and writes about sustainable leadership, role redesign, and the strain that gets misread as personal capacity issues but is actually structural. Her writing returns to a single question: what would change if you saw your role clearly? Not as more responsibility. As a container, one that often outgrew its design without being formally renegotiated. Naming that doesn't weaken leadership, she argues. It restores it.
Root Astro is where the work she does inside her coaching practice gets to breathe outside. Co-founded with Lee Arthur, the device-free leadership accelerator is built on her conviction that the leaders she loves most are running on empty, and that the standard wellness, executive development, and team-offsite categories do not address the actual problem.
Her contribution to the Method is the Stillness pillar. The insistence that strategic rest, deep listening, and the slowing of an over-functioning nervous system are not soft work. They are the precondition for the strategic work everything else depends on.
Marsha is based in New York and works with clients across the United States.
