Participation in Root Astro retreats involves inherent risks including but not limited to physical exertion, exposure to weather and natural elements, remote locations with limited access to medical facilities, and psychological challenges associated with intensive leadership development. By registering for and participating in any Root Astro retreat, you acknowledge these risks and assume full responsibility for your participation. All participants are required to sign a detailed waiver and assumption of risk agreement prior to retreat commencement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Root Astro LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or participation in our programs. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Retreat bookings require a deposit as specified at the time of registration. Cancellations made more than 60 days before the retreat start date are eligible for a full refund minus a processing fee. Cancellations between 30 and 60 days receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 30 days of the retreat are non-refundable. Root Astro reserves the right to cancel or reschedule retreats due to weather, safety concerns, or insufficient enrollment, in which case full refunds will be provided.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Grand County, Utah.
