Root Astro provides leadership development retreats, enterprise team programs, and related coaching and consulting services. Our retreats involve outdoor activities, physical challenges, and reflective practices in remote natural settings. Specific offerings, schedules, and pricing are subject to change without notice.
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and the Root Astrolabe Method, is the property of Root Astro LLC and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission. The Root Astro name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Root Astro LLC.
Participation in Root Astro retreats involves inherent risks including but not limited to physical exertion, exposure to weather and natural elements, remote locations with limited access to medical facilities, and psychological challenges associated with intensive leadership development. By registering for and participating in any Root Astro retreat, you acknowledge these risks and assume full responsibility for your participation. All participants are required to sign a detailed waiver and assumption of risk agreement prior to retreat commencement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Root Astro LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or participation in our programs. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
"Hard: Building Your Inner Citadel" by Lee Arthur is published independently and primarily distributed through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). Purchases made through external retailers are governed by those retailers' terms of sale. All proceeds from book sales are donated to children's charities as designated on the /book page. Where chapter content is provided through the Fieldstone Letter newsletter, that delivery is governed by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Our website and all content provided through it are made available on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Information on this website does not constitute medical, psychological, legal, financial, or professional advice. Participation in any Root Astro program is undertaken at your own discretion and risk.
Retreat bookings require a deposit as specified at the time of registration. Cancellations made more than 60 days before the retreat start date are eligible for a full refund minus a processing fee. Cancellations between 30 and 60 days receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 30 days of the retreat are non-refundable. Root Astro reserves the right to cancel or reschedule retreats due to weather, safety concerns, or insufficient enrollment, in which case full refunds will be provided.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Orange County, New York.
