What you are gettingThe Instrument is the six-dimension self-reading you take before, at the end of, and ninety days after the retreat.
Where it fitsIt is how you measure what the ninety days changed. Everything else on the map is either something it reads, or something built to move the reading.
The Instrument reads six things. Each is a quality you can feel the absence of on a bad week and cannot fake on a good one.
You take the reading three times: the morning you arrive, the morning you leave, and at day ninety. The arrival reading is the honest baseline, taken inside the weather you call normal. The departure reading is the flattering one, and we treat it as a hypothesis, not a finding. The day-ninety reading is the only number we ever call a result.
Your readings belong to you. A sponsoring company sees team-level, aggregated results and never a named person's numbers. That is not generosity; it is what keeps the reading honest.
First reading taken at the gate, day one
The readings protocol, the scoring, and the day-zero, day-three and day-ninety method are part of the retreat and live with the people who have taken it. If you have been here, or you facilitate with us, write to hello@rootastrolabe.com and we will open them for you.
